Press Castle is a little bit of luxury in beuatiful and peaceful surroundings. We had a wonderful holiday - great walks, sea air and country pubs - the best way to catch the last of the summer sun.

Ideal location for those seeking a quiet, relaxing break, large grounds to explore and village with sandy beach, shop and two pub/restaurants less than 2 miles away.

Press Castle is about 2.5 miles from the nearest village (Coldingham) so its a perfect location for a quiet and peaceful getaway. There are plenty of walks - the coastal routes are highly recommended! The surrounding areas are great to visit - Eyemouth has seals in its harbour and Edinburgh isn't that far by car or by train (catch the train at Berwick or Dunbar). We saw plenty of wildlife including seals and deer and there are loads of places to eat locally - the Red Lion at Reston does beautiful food and is highly recommended.
